Happy holidays from all of us at The Prevention Researcher! Wherever you may be this season, I hope you find joy in each day.

As the end of 2011 draws near, I find myself reflecting on the past year, and what a year it has been! We have transitioned into including digital access for our readers (with many great reviews!), and we are continuing to reach broader audiences with podcasts, social media, and our blog. Through these changes, our readers have remained a key piece of The Prevention Researcher.

To all of our readers, I extend much appreciation. Not only are you the reason we seek to publish this important research, but every day you are on the frontlines helping youth, which is ultimately our greatest source of inspiration.

I also want to recognize our board members, who have guided us as we search for ways to best reach adolescents and the professionals who work with youth. Over the course of this year, we have also collaborated with many different groups, agencies, and individuals whose combined efforts have absolutely enhanced The Prevention Researcher and helped us fulfill our mission.

Our hardworking staff truly enjoy their jobs, and surely the driving force behind The Prevention Researcher is the common goal to promote successful adolescent development — one issue at a time.

Thank you for your support and for all that you do. Best wishes for this holiday season and the new year.

Sincerely,

Steven Ungerleider, Ph.D.
